Student Name: Jared Austin
Project/Activity Name: SWOT Analysis
Driving question - What was the project goal? What are my strengths, weaknesses (things to improve upon), opportunities, and threats
What did you do well in order to accomplish the project/activity objective? Identify specific steps you performed.
I thought about what people have told me in the past that are some of my strengths. I also listed some things that I think are weaknesses of mine which is not hard to do. Then I asked my friends what they thought my strengths and weaknesses are.
What can you improve in order to create a better outcome when you do something similar in the future? Identify specific skills that can be improved. In the future, I could probably be a little less hard on myself since I tend to focus in on the negatives about myself.
How do you think the activity can be improved in the future? Also, what was your most enjoyable part of the activity? Be specific and write a full explanation. Although the SWOT report can be an important tool for self-evaluation, I do think that the Threat category is so vague that it is unnecesary. Unless someone has an addictive personality or some other unfortunate quirk such as this they probably do not have anything to write in this category. The most fun part of this activity is the section in which a person is asked about the most positive and beneficial aspects of their personality. This is definitely a pick-me-up.
