Sophomore Year

Sophomore year in CIBACS was entertaining but stressful. The year-long project was something that I had never experienced and it was an uphill battle the entire time. This experience taught me to persevere even if one feels as though their hard work will not pay off.

Mission

On Ramp

The On Ramp Presentation was a much larger under taking than the previous project but I was ready for a challenge. We were tasked with creating, pitching and marketing a brand new product to the sports-wear company, Athletic Recon. I was now paired up with Brianna Smith, Crystal Nguyen (again), and Sureya Kalsi. After a lot of deliberation our team name had been decided. Our company was Viva Research & Development.

On Ramp began in October and ended in April, so it was separated into stages. We brainstormed for two months in order to think of a new, innovative product that Athletic Recon would actually sell.

We made a shirt that had pockets that would be filled with water, sort of like a CamelBack. We called it the AquaLotus and spent over 4 months developing our product.
